Stash: Hot Air Balloon

They're here! The summer charms have officially hit boutiques! First stop on the list? A sweet minty green and pink hot air balloon, complete with a puppy captain.

Stock photos never do a charm justice, and in this case mine don't either. It's a very ornate and dainty piece. I think the detail is exceptional and the weave pattern on the basket is something to admire. The flowers and pave banner might be a little frilly for some of you, but the whole thing reminded me of some sort of May Day celebration. The bezel-set crystals along the side are also a creative interpretation - they remind me of the sandbags that you sometimes would see on the side of a hot air balloon.

It's hard to say whether this will have a chance to make it to the outlets or not. If I had to bet I would say it will.. it truly is adorable, but for the price I think a lot of people may wait on it. Especially since there's far more buzz for the pretzel & the panda!

On a whim I checked up on Juicy's new arrivals section - surprise! After what feels like weeks and weeks of nothing a whole plethora of cute stuff has landed!

We already knew about the carousel horse, lucky 7, and hot air balloon, thanks to Bloomingdale's online trunk show. We suspected the panda and the pretzel, which have now been confirmed.

On The Horizon: Hot Air Balloon

Spotted at Bloomingdale's online Juicy Couture Summer Trunk Show: a sweet pastel hot air balloon, complete with passenger, landing in the golds.

Oh. No. This is definitely one of the cuter and more creative charms that I've seen in awhile. The detail looks pretty amazing - chains for the rope, a proper weave pattern on the basket, plus little flower adornments? I'm absolutely sold. I don't even plan on waiting to find it on sale or discounted - I'll probably pick it up directly from my local Juicy boutique as soon as they get it in.

Thanks to Google's sweet caching system I was able to find their stock photo - it's all that remains of this little cutie for now. :(
